Established in 2001, NJCPO is a government agency tasked with the supervision of adult defendants with Misdemeanor Probation, Pretrial Diversion and Bond Supervision cases in Georgia's Northern Judicial Circuit. NJCPO is unique in that its jurisdiction covers five counties, Elbert, Franklin, Hart, Madison and Oglethorpe. The agency is staffed with a dedicated team of Probation Officers, who are sworn officers, Probation Supervisors and administrative personnel.
